Founder & Director
Michael is a Chemical Engineer turned full-time musician, educator, and entrepreneur. Certified by Berklee College of Music and the University of West London, he has conducted workshops and training programs for leading corporates, international schools, colleges, and universities, gaining valuable insight into the evolving needs of both education and industry.
His extensive professional network and deep understanding of the education and corporate sectors became the foundation for establishing AlterScale Intelligence. Supported by a community of accomplished former students, including graduates from premier institutions such as the IITs, he envisioned an organization that bridges the gap between academic learning, technological innovation, and real-world application.
Michael later developed a strong interest in Artificial Intelligence and completed several professional courses in AI. His passion for combining technology with education inspired the formation of AlterScale Intelligence. Today, he leads the organization's vision of developing AI-powered learning solutions, innovative products, and practical technologies that bridge the gap between education, industry, and artificial intelligence.
Avijit Arya
Director & Industry Advisor
Avijit Arya is the Founder of Skilign, an assessment-driven employability and workforce readiness company dedicated to helping students bridge the gap between academic learning and industry expectations. A graduate of IIT Bombay, he brings over a decade of experience across education, skill development, consulting, government initiatives, and the social sector.
Throughout his career, Avijit has worked extensively with students from diverse backgrounds, designing learning programs, assessment frameworks, and training initiatives that enhance employability, practical skills, and career readiness. His expertise lies in creating scalable learning solutions that align educational outcomes with evolving industry requirements. He specializes in Artificial Intelligence training and leads a dedicated team of AI trainers delivering programs for corporates, schools, colleges, and universities, helping organizations build practical AI capabilities at every level.
His areas of focus include programming, problem-solving, communication, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies, with a strong emphasis on measurable learning outcomes and workforce development. Bushra Nazir is a Staff AI Scientist with nearly a decade of experience in applied artificial intelligence, data-driven product development, and real-world technology implementation. With a strong academic foundation from IISc Bangalore and industry experience at organizations such as Intel and Akeso, she brings a unique combination of technical expertise, product strategy, and execution-focused leadership.
Throughout her career, Bushra has worked with cross-functional teams to transform complex ideas into practical, user-centric AI products. She has mentored engineering teams, guided technical strategy, and led product development from early-stage problem discovery and experimentation through design, validation, and deployment. Her experience includes defining product vision, aligning stakeholders, managing technical roadmaps, and delivering scalable solutions with measurable business impact.
Her areas of expertise include artificial intelligence, computer vision, generative AI, agentic AI systems, data intelligence, and applied technology innovation. She is particularly passionate about developing practical AI solutions that combine robust technical foundations with real-world usability, spanning vision-based analytics, healthcare intelligence, intelligent automation, AI-assisted decision support, and scalable data-driven products. Anu is a Chartered Accountant and finance professional with extensive experience in statutory and internal audits, risk management, compliance, financial reporting, and strategic finance. She has worked with globally recognized organizations, including PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Hewlett Packard, and Herbert Smith LLP, gaining valuable exposure to multinational teams and complex business environments across diverse industries and geographies.
Throughout her career, Anu has developed expertise in financial modelling, valuation, corporate governance, and business risk assessment. Her practical experience in equity markets, investing, and derivatives further strengthens her ability to combine analytical rigor with commercially sound decision-making and long-term strategic planning.
